It’s always nice to shoot in my home town! Today I’m throwing it back to this Charleston, WV wedding along the Kanawha River. Amy & Will got married at a private estate that belongs to their family. It’s so incredibly special when the venue choice can be a place that truly has meaning to you. It also didn’t hurt that this property was aesthetically pleasing. The front lawn is where the ceremony and reception were both held. I love that they used the backdrop of the house for their ceremony & had a tent reception on the other side of the lawn. Watch the video to see Amy’s vintage details & the incredible light we had during sunset!
I have to say, this wedding will always be one of my favorites because it’s currently on the cover of West Virginia Weddings Magazine. I’m lucky to have my name featured in such an awesome local publication! Make sure to grab a copy while it’s still on stands!
